In 2019 a total of 1115 festivals were organized in The Netherlands. Lots of fun, but this industry leaves quite an ecological footprint. Digital experience agency Ignation came up with Tappie: an environmentally responsible alternative to plastic. FINN came in to make Tappie pay.
Who’s Tappie?
It’s an experimental concept that consists of three parts:
These three are all connected. First, the festival visitor connects the reusable cup to our companion app. Then he chooses a service defined by the dispenser of the cup. And payment will be done automatically! When? As soon as the trigger (in this case the cup being filled by the drink dispenser) is recognized.
